Vesperlume (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Vesperlume.

Vesperlume is designed as a local daily ritual, reflection, breathing, and visual light experience app. The App does not require an account, does not operate its own server, and does not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Vesperlume does not collect, store, or share personal information on our own servers.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, health data, or payment card information.

We do not track you across apps or websites.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App may allow you to create or save the following content locally on your device:

Daily text reflections
Amount records
User-selected images
Daily ritual time settings
Breathing session preferences
App display and interaction preferences
Archived daily records
Exported TXT files created by you

This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

If you delete the App, your locally stored data may also be deleted, unless you have exported or backed it up separately through your device or Apple services.

3. Photos and Media Access

Vesperlume may request access to your photo library only when you choose to add an image to a daily record or save a ritual screenshot.

The App uses this access only to complete the action you request.

Your photos are not uploaded to our servers.

4. Local Notifications

Vesperlume may request permission to send local notifications for your selected daily ritual time.

These notifications are generated on your device. We do not receive or store your notification schedule.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

5. Apple Sign-In and Purchase UI

Vesperlume may include account, Apple Sign-In, coin, recharge, or purchase-related interface elements as part of the App’s visual design or future feature placeholders.

Unless a real Apple service or in-app purchase is actively enabled in the App version you are using, these elements do not create an account, process authentication, or complete a payment.

If future versions enable Apple Sign-In or in-app purchases, those features will be handled through Apple’s systems and may be subject to Apple’s own privacy practices and terms.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Because Vesperlume does not operate its own server for personal data storage, we do not share your personal records with third parties.

7. Data Export and Deletion

Vesperlume may allow you to export your records as a TXT file.

You are responsible for how you store, share, or delete exported files outside the App.

You may delete individual records, clear history, or delete the App to remove locally stored App data from your device.

8. Children’s Privacy

Vesperlume is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the App does not collect personal information on our own servers, we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

Vesperlume is designed to keep your personal ritual records on your device.

However, no device or digital storage method is completely secure. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other available security features.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
